As all mountain bikers do, the Finger Lakes Mountain Bike Club (FLMBC) is always looking for
new local places to ride and trails to conquer. More trails mean more opportunities for beginner
and experienced cyclists alike. FLMBC believes we have an obligation not only to riders but to
their communities. As we strive to promote responsible riding, we are helping to educate the
non-biking public and change misconceptions. We do this by enlightening club members and
non-club members about environmental concerns. We welcome communication between
landowner/managers and the biking community to resolve issues regarding trail usage. FLMBC
never condones riding on private property or trails forbidden by law. We promote "IMBA's
Rules of the Trail" and encourage others to do the same.
